BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA—Sheriff Wayne Ivey and his Command Staff will present the annual Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Awards Ceremony on Friday evening at the Church of Viera, and you can watch this inspiring event live on Space Coast Daily TV starting at 6:30 p.m.

The ceremony will celebrate the bravery, dedication, and community service of law enforcement officers, employees, and volunteers.

“On behalf of the nearly 1,700 Brevard County Sheriff’s Office members, I would like to personally thank the family members, friends, and community leaders who will join us tonight,” said Sheriff Ivey.

“Your attendance and continued support for our law enforcement profession’s outstanding men and women is greatly appreciated.”

The event will highlight the exceptional accomplishments of agency members, volunteers, and citizens who have worked tirelessly to make Brevard County a safe place to live.

Sheriff Ivey described the honorees as “real-life superheroes,” emphasizing their courage, valor, and dedication.

Among the festivities will be the announcement of the Deputy of the Year, Corrections Deputy of the Year, Public Safety Telecommunicator of the Year, Reserve Deputy of the Year, Employee of the Year, Special Recognition Award, Volunteer of the Year, Citizen of the Year and Partnership Award of the Year.

Sheriff Ivey reiterated the importance of community support in law enforcement, stating, “It takes a community to protect a community. The evening served as a reminder of the dedication and heroism displayed by those who serve and protect Brevard County every day.”
