Motorcyclist Dies After Crash on Cheney Highway in Titusville, Victim Identified

Titusville Police announced on Monday that the driver of a 3-wheeler motorcycle was killed after colliding with a vehicle on Cheney Highway (S.R. 50) on Thursday, April 3.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police announced on Monday that the driver of a 3-wheeler motorcycle was killed after colliding with a vehicle on Cheney Highway (S.R. 50) on Thursday, April 3.

The preliminary investigation revealed that George H. Carrol, 79, of Titusville, was driving a 2019 Harley Davidson, driving eastbound on Cheney Hwy. around 8:36 a.m.. As he turned left at Mount Vernon Ave, he pulled into the path of a 2010 Hyundai, being driven westbound on Cheney highway by Cathy Mazariegos, 50, of Johnson St. in Cocoa.

Carrol later died at the hospital, according to Titusville Police.

No charges are pending against the driver of the Hyundai.

The traffic fatality remains under investigation by Titusville Police.
