BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two individuals in connection with a disturbing case of animal abuse involving the unlawful confinement of animals without proper care.
Jasmine McGeehan and Michael Thompson-Grin face multiple charges, including unlawful confinement without sufficient food, water, or exercise, and aggravated felony animal cruelty.
According to authorities, the conditions under which the animals were kept were deemed inhumane and neglectful.
The Sheriff’s Office set bond for each individual at $3,500.
Sheriff Wayne Ivey and the Brevard County Animal Services Division have consistently emphasized the county’s zero-tolerance policy for animal cruelty, urging the public to report any signs of abuse or neglect.
