BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County teams delivered a mix of dominant wins and tough losses on Friday night. Cocoa rolled past Newberry 42–13, while Merritt Island put together a strong 41–13 victory over Titusville.
Eau Gallie also impressed with a 26–0 shutout, and MCC earned a solid 21–4 win over Orlando Christian Prep.
On the other side, Rockledge fell 35–0 at Zephyrhills, Melbourne was blanked 43–0 by Armwood, and Heritage took a 58–7 loss to St. Thomas Aquinas.
Space Coast battled but came up short in a 53–18 defeat to American Heritage, and Merritt Island Christian dropped a 49–26 game to Real Life Christian. Viera rounded out the night with a convincing 54–13 win over Riverview.
