BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Mike Erdman Automotive has launched its annual “Fill the Truck” Food Drive, a month-long community effort aimed at supporting families across Brevard County during the holiday season.

The initiative runs November 1–30 and encourages residents to donate non-perishable food items, toiletries, blankets, and clothing.

The dealership, located at 4650 State Road 520 in Cocoa, is serving as the primary drop-off location.

All collected items will be delivered on December 1 to the Brevard Sharing Center, which will distribute donations to local families in need.

This year’s drive is being held in partnership with the City of Cocoa, strengthening the reach and visibility of the long-running effort.

In addition to collecting goods, Mike Erdman Automotive will donate $100 for every vehicle sold in November, with proceeds benefiting food bank organizations throughout Brevard County.

“Supporting our community has been at the heart of our business since the beginning,” said Mike Erdman, owner of Mike Erdman Automotive.

“Fill the Truck is an opportunity for all of us to come together and help local families during a time of year when it matters most. Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference here in Brevard County.”

How to Participate:
■  Drop off non-perishable food, toiletries, blankets, or clothing at Mike Erdman Automotive, 4650 FL-520, Cocoa.
■  Share the event with friends, family, and local organizations to help broaden community involvement.

All donations collected through the Fill the Truck Food Drive stay in Brevard County, supporting local households as they head into the holiday season.

“Supporting our community has been at the heart of our business since the beginning,” Erdman said, underscoring how Fill the Truck aligns with a larger mission.

While delivering groceries matters in the short term, his broader legacy in Brevard spans generations—through sports, environmental work, veteran care, and economic development.

As the food drive gets underway, Erdman hopes not just to collect goods but to rally his neighbors around a shared sense of caring.

“Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference here in Brevard County,” he added.
