BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – SpaceX is targeting a late-night launch window Wednesday, January 28 for a Starlink mission from Florida’s Space Coast, continuing the company’s rapid deployment of its broadband satellite constellation.
A Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to lift off from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station between 9:14 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, and 1:14 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29 (ET). The mission will carry 29 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit.
SpaceX will provide a live webcast of the launch beginning approximately five minutes prior to liftoff. The broadcast will be available on SpaceX’s website, on X (@SpaceX), and via the X TV app.
This mission will mark the 10th flight of the Falcon 9 first-stage booster assigned to the launch. The booster has previously supported a diverse set of missions, including SES O3b mPOWER-E, Crew-10, Bandwagon-3, mPOWER-D, CRS-33, and four prior Starlink launches, underscoring SpaceX’s continued emphasis on booster reusability.
Following stage separation, SpaceX plans to recover the first stage by landing it on the Just Read the Instructions droneship, which will be positioned in the Atlantic Ocean.
