BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — The West Melbourne Police Department is actively searching for an 11-year-old boy named James who was reported missing on the evening of April 4.

James is described as a Black male with brown hair and brown eyes who wears glasses. He was last seen on Friday, April 4, around 2:30 p.m., exiting a school bus near U.S. Highway 192 and Piney Branch Way.

When he was last seen, James was wearing a light grey Imagine School polo shirt and dark-colored shorts.

Authorities urge anyone who sees James or someone matching his description to call 911 immediately. The West Melbourne Police Department is asking the public to remain alert and assist in locating the missing juvenile as quickly as possible.
