BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – This Saturday night kicks off Brevard’s Christmas season with the annual “Light Up Viera Christmas Parade!” Folks, there’s no bad seat along the route so just find a place for your chairs, blankets or golf carts and get the kids comfortable for an amazing night of lights and holiday cheer.

The event begins with fireworks starting at 6 p.m., and the parade taking off right after that.

This year’s parade has a new route that will start at the intersection of Judge Fran Jamieson Way and Stadium Parkway, then go down Stadium to Viera Blvd, and ending at Manatee Elementary.

It’s a great parade route so everyone will get a chance to see all the incredible floats, high school bands, beautiful displays, our Grand Marshal Saint, and of course, Santa Claus.

For questions about the event please email Charity Executive Director Lindsey Deaton-Boane at Lindsey@BCSOCharity.org.

I look forward to seeing everyone Saturday night as we begin the most wonderful time of the year.
