ABOVE VIDEO: Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard discusses the intentions of former President Barack Obama’s administration in ‘politicizing intelligence’ on ‘Hannity.’
WASHINGTON D.C. (FOX NEWS) – Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard appeared on Fox News show “Hannity” Friday night, where she claimed that former President Barack Obama used the Russia collusion narrative to undermine the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.
Gabbard announced the declassification of a report on the Obama administration’s handling of the Russia investigation, describing it as containing “overwhelming evidence.”
According to Gabbard, the report details how, after Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton, President Obama and his national security team initiated what would become the years-long Trump-Russia investigation.
Speaking to viewers, Gabbard emphasized that the issue goes beyond partisanship, framing it as a matter of national importance tied to the “integrity and strength of our democratic republic.”
“These more than 100 documents that I declassified and released provide a detailed account of what happened,” Gabbard said. “It shows how some of the most powerful officials in our country—including President Obama, along with senior national security leaders like James Comey, John Brennan, James Clapper, and Susan Rice—deliberately pushed forward a politicized intelligence narrative with the goal of undermining the will of the American people.”
