Child Hospitalized in Stable Condition After E-Bike vs. Pickup Truck Crash

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA — Cocoa Beach police are investigating a midday traffic crash involving a juvenile riding an e-bike and a pickup truck, authorities said Tuesday.
According to the Cocoa Beach Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 12:29 p.m. on November 25, to the intersection of Ocean Beach Boulevard and East Gadsen Lane after receiving reports of a collision between the truck and the e-bike rider.
When officers arrived, they located the injured juvenile, who emergency responders immediately evaluated.
The child was transported to a nearby hospital and is reported to be in stable condition, police said.
Authorities did not release additional details about the crash, including how it occurred or whether the driver of the pickup truck remained on scene. Police emphasized that the investigation remains active as officers work to determine the sequence of events.
