Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, famed frontman of Black Sabbath, has died at the age of 76.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, famed frontman of Black Sabbath, has died at the age of 76.

In a statement to the BBC, his family shared the heartbreaking news: “It is with more sadness than words can express that we announce the passing of our beloved Ozzy Osbourne this morning. He was surrounded by family and love. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult time.”

Osbourne recently took the stage for his final performance with Black Sabbath in Birmingham, England.

Known for hits like “Iron Man,” Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003 but kept the news private until 2020.

Earlier this year, on a January 29 episode of his Sirius XM program “Ozzy Speaks,” the iconic singer revealed his declining health, saying, “I may complain about not being able to walk, but I think about people who didn’t do half as much as me and never made it.”
