A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — The City of Melbourne has issued a boil water notice to customers at 2500 – 2623 Diplomat Drive. Water will be shut off to these properties to perform a repair on a water main in the area.
As a precaution once water service is restored, the city advises that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes, be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
This precautionary boil water notice is expected to remain in effect until the required bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
