Sunday’s dual launches mark milestone in SpaceX’s record of Starlink deployments

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA — SpaceX is set to conduct two Falcon 9 launches on Sunday, deploying nearly 60 Starlink satellites from its East and West Coast launch sites.
The first mission, Starlink 6‑86, will launch 29 Starlink v2 Mini satellites from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center on Florida’s Space Coast.
Liftoff is scheduled for midnight EST (5:00 a.m. UTC). The rocket’s first stage is expected to return to the autonomous drone ship Just Read The Instructions stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
The second mission, Starlink 15‑10, will take place from Space Launch Complex 4E at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.
The Falcon 9 carrying 27 Starlink v2 Mini satellites has a launch window from 6:59 p.m. to 10:59 p.m. PT. Its first stage will attempt a landing on the drone ship Of Course I Still Love You in the Pacific Ocean.
Both launches aim to expand SpaceX’s low-Earth orbit satellite constellation, which provides broadband internet coverage worldwide. These two missions will add to the growing network of Starlink satellites, part of the company’s ongoing effort to enhance global connectivity.
SpaceX’s launch operations team will monitor weather and technical conditions at both sites, with final go/no-go decisions made in the hours leading up to liftoff.
Sunday’s dual launches mark another milestone in SpaceX’s record of frequent Starlink deployments, demonstrating the company’s ability to conduct multiple missions on the same day from different coasts.
