Cape Coast Conference Semi-Final Action
WATCH REPLAY: The Palm Bay Pirates host the Rockledge Raiders in the Cape Coast Conference Tournament semifinals, with a berth in the championship game on the line.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — The Palm Bay Pirates will host the Rockledge Raiders on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Cape Coast Conference Tournament semifinals, with a berth in the championship game on the line.
Palm Bay enters the matchup as one of the area’s top teams. The Pirates are 15–2 this season, with their only losses coming against Viera by four points and Mainland by five.
They have been dominant throughout the year and opened conference tournament play with a convincing 30-point victory over Merritt Island. Palm Bay also claimed the Cape Coast Conference title two seasons ago.
The last time these teams met, the Pirates earned a 71–60 victory. While Palm Bay won by double digits, beating the same opponent twice in one season is never easy—especially with a championship opportunity at stake. Rockledge will be motivated to even the score and keep its postseason hopes alive.

The Raiders enter the semifinal at 9–9 after an up-and-down season that included several losing streaks.
The team’s core of Brady Kearns and Conlan Oakley has continued to produce as it did a year ago, but Rockledge will need more from its supporting cast to pull off an upset.
Seniors Michael Merritt and D’Maryon Bryant have contributed, but both will need to be more aggressive offensively as the Raiders enter a challenging stretch to close out the season.
For Palm Bay, success has been driven by its “three-headed monster” of seniors Omar Clarke, Caden Newton, and O’Ryan Woolestan, all of whom are averaging more than 13 points per game.
The Pirates have been especially strong in the second half, using their athleticism and rebounding to generate fast-break opportunities and second-chance points.
To have a chance, Rockledge must control the boards, limit extra possessions, and slow the tempo by executing in the half-court.
With both teams eager to earn a spot in the Cape Coast Conference Championship, Wednesday night promises a competitive showdown. The question remains: will Palm Bay continue its dominant run, or can Rockledge rise to the occasion and deliver an upset?
