BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – SpaceX notched another successful mission from Florida’s Space Coast with the launch of 29 Starlink satellites aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Liftoff happened at 1:46 a.m. ET.
This mission marked the first flight for the Falcon 9 first-stage booster assigned to the launch. After powering the rocket through the initial phase of ascent, the booster separated cleanly and executed a precise series of burns before touching down on the droneship Just Read the Instructions, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
The ocean landing extends the booster’s potential reuse across future missions — a hallmark of SpaceX’s cost-saving approach to spaceflight.
Shortly after separation, the upper stage continued its journey to deploy the 29 Starlink satellites, which will join thousands already in orbit.
The network is designed to deliver high-speed internet service to remote and underserved regions worldwide while supporting maritime, aviation, and government customers.
